DESCRIPTION:Scott Fash is Senior Director of Policy & Research for BILD Alberta. BILD is the amalgamation of Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA) and Urban Development Institute (UDI) which was completed about 2 years ago. They focus on building and development issues at the Provincial and Federal levels.\n\n\n\nThe Provincial government is focusing on Red Tape Reduction\, and BILD Alberta has developed a list of key issues that they are requesting the Province to consider to reduce red tape for our industry. Some of the issues identified include:\n\n	Amending mortgage rules in Alberta\;\n	Delaying and monitoring impacts of Energy Step Codes and Net Zero Ready building requirements\;\n	Joint worksite Health & Safety Committees\;\n	STANDATA's\;\n	Permit Timelines and Approvals\;\n	Timely approvals from Ministry of Transportation and other Provincial Ministries\;\n	Offsite and Provincial Transportation Levies\n	And more!\n\nBILD is also championing a "Housing and Development Innovations Act: Homes for All Albertans".\n\n\n\nCome out on October 10th to hear about these initiatives and how they may impact the building and development industry in the Bow Valley.
