The initiative builds upon and includes Liricon's efforts to manage the impact of vehicles on Banff National Park by returning the passenger rail service between the Calgary Airport to Banff\, creating intercept parking\, aerial transit from the Banff train station to Norquay\, shuttle only service to points of interest around the Park\; and pedestrianization of Banff Ave.\n\n\n\nThese initiatives can reduce GHGs while improving the visitor experience and are based on models proven by the world leaders in mountain towns and National Park vehicle management - Zion National Park and Zermatt Switzerland.
