This is in part due to its proximity to Calgary\, as well as its reputation as a world class tourist destination. Both people and wildlife concentrate their movements along the valley bottoms\, which can lead to human-wildlife occurrences\, displacement of wildlife from important habitat\, and human-caused mortality. \n\n\n\nFind out what has been done in the past 20+ years\, and what mitigations and plans are being put in place in 2019 and the decades to come to reduce human-wildlife occurences.\n\n\n\nBrett Boukall is a Senior Wildlife Biologist responsible for wildlife and their habitats in the Bow District\, and was a member of the Human-Wildlife Co-Existence Technical Committee that was responsible for creating the report.
