DESCRIPTION:Please let us know by noon this afternoon (Monday\, November 11) if you cannot attend the event. \n\n\n\n\n\n BOWDA Annual Christmas Fundraiser and Luncheon on Thursday\, December 14\, 2017.\n\n\n\nThis event sells out fast\, so we encourage you to register early! You can also sponsor an "elf" for the Christmas lunch. The administrative staff at the MD of Bighorn\, Town of Banff and Town of Canmore do so much behind the scenes. This is an opportunity to buy them lunch so that they can attend and get some well deserved time away from the office!\n\n\n\nThe lunch starts off with the bar at 11:30 am. The annual Festive Tie Auction and Fundraising will start shortly after 12 noon. This year the funds raised will go to the Canmore Community Daycare Society to help fund their expansion project. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for Bow Valley Food Bank.\n\n\n\nFollowing the tie auction and fund-raiser\, enjoy lunch and comedian Scott Dumas. In Scott's first year as a comic he was a finalist in Alberta's Search for Funniest New Comic and has since showcased for Just for Laughs five times and performed in six different countries. He has headlined comedy clubs from coast-to-coast and can be heard on XM radio.
