DESCRIPTION:BOWDA Christmas Luncheon on Thursday\, December 13\, 2018.\n\n\n\nThis event sells out fast\, so we encourage you to register early! You can also sponsor an "elf" for the Christmas lunch. The administrative staff at the MD of Bighorn\, Town of Banff and Town of Canmore do so much behind the scenes. This is an opportunity to buy them lunch so that they can attend and get some well deserved time away from the office!\n\n\n\nThe lunch starts off with the bar at 11:30 am. The annual Festive Tie Fundraising will start shortly after noon. This year we will also have at least one silent auction items (Panorama Mountain Resort: 2 nights accommodation for 2 people\, 2 days of skiing for 2 people\, and 4 single ride tickets for Monster X cat skiing...value over $1\,000!). This year the funds raised will be split between Bow Valley Christmas Spirit Campaign and Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports. We are excited to be able to support these 2 great programs that support people in the Bow Valley throughout the year. Please consider making a donation at the luncheon!\n\n\n\nOur Christmas entertainment this year will be Theatre Canmore's presentation of A Christmas Carol\, a live radio play. Charles Dickens' holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940's radio broadcast\, complete with vintage commercials and live sound. No one will be left saying Bah Humbug! by this charming musical take on a family favourite.
