SUMMARY:April 11\, 2019. BOWDA Luncheon and AGM
DESCRIPTION:BOWDA Annual General Meeting and Luncheon\n\n\n\nThe AGM will take about 15 minutes at the start of the lunch. We will present the 2018 financial statements for approval\, and the members will vote on the 2019-2020 board of directors. The bylaws allow for 10 members of the board\, and there are 13 people who have expressed an interest\, including 8 of the 10 existing board members. She will also discuss the decision behind moving away from UDI to form BOWDA.\n\n \n\nTwo of the founding members of UDI Canmore\, Frank Kernick and Stephen Ross will discuss why they decided to approach Susan to create the organization\, what they hoped to accomplish and whether or not they feel that the organization has accomplished what they set out to do\, and the development issues back in 1995 compared to today. \n\n \n\nRon Remple\, the current Executive Director will discuss what BOWDA is doing in 2019 and how it will stay relevant to its members and effective as an organization into the future.
